Yan Cook - Time Bend

This Ukraine producer is a non-stop factory of thick, booming tracks, sometimes hard and grinding and others, like Time Bend, driving and mysterious.

Yan Cook - ZZZ

Ukranian producer Yan Cook unleashes three techno beasts on his Toxin EP, on Soma Records, of which we highlight the rolling and thundering third cut. With a mix of rhythm and weight, this bottom heavy track will run over anything in its path with no mercy.

GusGus & Metodi Hristov - Magenta (Skober Remix)

Fusing hard beats and an acid line to the progressive stylings of the original, Skober´s remix of Magenta from GusGus and Metodi Hristov turns it into a stomping techno track that also carries a melodic edge. Record label Set About released Magenta as a 9-track EP that includes 8 remixes of the title track from Frankyeffe, Teenage Mutants, Maksim Dark, among others, as well as remix of GusGus´ Featherlight by Hristov.

Yan Cook - Gravity

Hailing from Kiev, Yan Cook delivers a tough-yet-spacey EP on Delsin Records (109dsr). Standing out is opener Gravity, a grumbling grinding track that can generate its own heat.

Woo York - Siberian Night (Edit Select remix)

Scottish producer Edit Select gives Kiev duo Woo York a run for their money on this dark remix, where a low rumble pushes the beat along giving this track a menacing facelift. Out on Soma Records (Soma 418) as a three track single.
