The November Mix - Part 2

Time for another mix! As the weather turns cold around these parts, we need scorching-hot techno tracks to keep us warm and happy, and this session brings just about everything you need to meet the unavoidable cold. But, if you´re in the Southern Hemisphere, then you´ll be experiencing the opposite. Enough talk, here´s the music!

Mark Broom & Discrete Circuit - MBDC 1

This jacking track from the MBDC EP is a nevertheless deep, heady affair full of solid beats and trippy effects,  a result of the collaboration between Mark Broom´s hard-edged techno and Discrete Circuit´s darker style.

Marco Effe - Unusual Signs

Marco Effe displays a thorough knowledge of what makes a techno track tick in Unusual Signs, his collaboration on the Calibrate Repetition EP from Planet Rhythm. A dry and sparse atmosphere is the perfect setting for its thundering percussion and piercing call-and-response stabs.

Dok & Martin - The Evil Laugh

Full of energy and purpose, Dok & Martin´s The Evil Laugh carries a groove that builds and explodes throughout the track, along with a spooky laugh and vocals mixed in.

Thomas Schumacher - The Fuzz

Thomas Schumacher unleashes his inner acid beast in The Fuzz, from his latest release on Noir Music. Full-on energy in a peak time track sure to blow a few minds on the dancefloor.

Layton Giordani - Black Mirror

With a synth riff that harks back to the glory days of rave, Black Mirror, from the Phase II EP,  Layton Giordani´s latest effort on Drumcode, is a moving track that recalls dark, foggy forests lit up by stroboscopic lights.

Yotam Avni - Death In Goa

Israeli producer Yotam Avni is in his best form when creating deep, twisting grooves that take techno to new limits. Death In Goa carries an unstoppable beat while burrowing into your brain with synth melodies and relentless repetition.

The Reason Y - Amalthea

A project started by Berlin producer Frederik Laaser, The Reason Y seeks to create deep, booming techno cuts that also connect to audiences on the dancefloor. Amalthea is a track that envelops and pulls you by keeping a steady beat and adding hypnotic effects to its many layers.

Popof - On The Line

Popof has a stellar touch when crafting wicked techno grooves, and Mind Access, his latest EP on ELEVATE, keeps on bringing the pounding beats, with pulsating track On The Line poised and ready for its attack on the dancefloor.

Marco Bailey - Hasai (Shlomi Aber Remix)

Remixing a Marco Bailey track should be a daunting, but satisfying, task, and Shlomi Aber delivers a killer version of 2017 cut Hasai that should really make him happy, thanks to a unique and updated touch.

Raito - 002

Suara keeps putting out quality techno records from new faces in the scene, bringing booming kicks and smart melodies together for a unique sound. In this case, French producer Raito offers his take on this side of techno with the Ikaruga EP, including the epic track 002.

Vonda7 - On Fire

A versatile music lover from Poland that has trotted Europe playing and learning the ropes of different styles, Vonda7 finally settled in Berlin, from where she unleashes beasts like this track, keeping her impressive production skills at the highest level. 

Matt Sassari - Leroy

Leading with his trademark pounding kicks, Matt Sassari´s Leroy carries a monster groove, aided by effective vocal samples and a menacing synth line that comes from out of nowhere.

Weska - Stellar Tidal Disruption

This intense track is impossible to miss thanks to its massive, rising and falling bassline, sweeping away all those who might happen to be on the dancefloor when it´s dropped.

Peace Division feat. Pleasant Gehman - Blacklight Sleaze (Radio Slave Vocal Remix)

True to his unmistakable style, Radio Slave reworks this Peace Division track by turning its tech-house grooves into a techno stomper, sparse and airy but nevertheless tough as steel.

Doctor Boom - Shapeshifter

The mighty KMS Records brings us a slice of straight-on, banging techno from this Florida producer, DJ, label head and label A&R, carrying several layers of voice and sound that twist and turn giving it a mutating vibe, while keeping a heavy groove.

Bastian Bux - Indanha

Bastian Bux returns to Suara with the Multiple Realities EP, four tracks of his hard-hitting, expansive techno with melodic soul. First off is Indanha, carrying a full-on groove and hypnotic synths.

Eskapist - Voluptuous Runner

Mysterious techno producer Skapist drops the second volume of his Figure series with four different tracks that cover the many moods and shapes of the genre. Voluptuous Runner is a tune that carries momentum and urgency, rolling over everything and everyone in their path.

Alex Rubino - Diva

A simple yet energetic synth melody leads this track of this Italian DJ´s latest EP on Phobiq, Incredible. Leaving enough space for every element to breathe, this cut combines the shimmer of club techno with the grit of the underground.

Joachim Spieth - Luminophor

Deep techno imprint Affin presents Luminophor, the latest EP from label boss Joachim Spieth, who weaves an intricate and dubby track full of echoes, effects and ghostly sounds in the title cut.
