Time for another mix! As the weather turns cold around these parts, we need scorching-hot techno tracks to keep us warm and happy, and this session brings just about everything you need to meet the unavoidable cold. But, if you´re in the Southern Hemisphere, then you´ll be experiencing the opposite. Enough talk, here´s the music!

The October 2018 Mix - Part 2

This mix has multiple personalities, no doubt due to the many different styles selected during this latter half of October. Including deep, melodic, clubby, funky, hard, scary and downright weird techno tunes, this is a session that covers a lot of ground. 

The October Mix, Part 1

This first October session focuses on the melodic side of techno, with some hard tracks peppered in for good measure. We´ve selected 15 great tracks over the first half of the month, and I hope this mix does them proper justice. Enjoy!

The September Mix - Part One

Time again for a new mix! This time the gloves are off and we bring you a scorching hot set from start to finish. Hard grooves, great melodies, wicked voice samples and, as always, big big kicks. Starting with the Detroit-like bass of opener They Came to Equalize, from 8factor, and ending with the larger-than-life vocals of closing tune Echota, from Veerus and Oc & Verde, this is a 69-minute ride that´s sure to have a couple memorable moments. The August 2018 Mix - Pt. 1

The first half of August brought us heat and great tunes as well, so we might as well call this a "hot" mix, one I can assure you had me dripping sweat by the end. With tunes from repeat offenders such as Maceo Plex and Yan Cook, who have been previously featured in this blog, but also featuring music from established names and up-and-coming producers as well. The July Mix - Part 2

This mix turned out as a balance between melodic and hard techno, with 16 excellent techno tracks building up from the easygoing nature of dubby techno to the gritty face of acid-tinged tunes, finishing with a touch of light and melody. Featuring original songs and remixes (including one of a classic 1997 tune), this collection will take you on a 80-minute ride to techno bliss. All tracks were reviewed on this blog from July 16 to 31, 2018.

The July Mix, Pt. 1

This mix features some left-field tunes as well as proper techno bangers, so it turned out somewhat eclectic. Weird melodies get paired with massive kicks for a shifting and heady session, covering the many different faces of techno, as The Techno Chapter´s mixes always do.
