uhnknwn is a fresh new face in techno of whom we have absolutely no idea where he comes from, or even how he looks like, but, judging by his Alpha In The Warm EP out on We Are The Brave, it´s likely we´ll be hearing more from him anytime soon. Third cut Starlight Unit is a slinky, dark and funky little ditty worth checking out.

Linus Quick - Tethys

Hauntingly deep and melodic, Tethys is a tune that gets right into your brain thanks to piercing notes and whispering pads, while a solid techno rhythm moves things along. German DJ and producer Linus Quick shows his skill and versatility in his latest EP from We Are The Brave, with three spacey and resounding cuts.

A.S.H - Vortex

Peak-time vibes are all over Vortex, the title cut from A.S.H´s debut on We Are The Brave. Tough, stomping kicks trudge along, drenched in menacing synths, while a distorted disembodied voice gives the track a dark, seductive tone. 

Skream - Poison (Alan Fitzpatrick Remix)

Since his early days as a dubstep pioneer, Skream has undergone a transformation both as a producer and as a DJ. Embracing the club sounds of techno and house, he´s made a name for himself in this circuit as well thanks to his unique and eclectic style. Poison is a techno clanker released by We Are The Brave and remixed by label head Alan Fitzpatrick, who refurbished the groove and added a meaty acid line after the preachin´, twisted breakdown.

Ronnie Spiteri - Thunder Life

Ronnie Spiteri is a DJ and producer from Birmingham whose work has been released by labels like Truesoul, Cr2 and Knee Deep In Sound. His melodic brand of techno is all over the Thunder Life EP, on We Are The Brave, featuring two cuts that delve into deep bass, pounding rhythms and melancholic synths. 

Thomas Evans - Because I´m

French DJ and producer Thomas Evans has a knack for finding and exploiting the deepest, darkest corners of techno, bringing out unique melodies and rhythms, and creating music that´s been played and supported by some of the biggest names in the scene. He has worked with labels like Phobiq and We Are the Brave, the latter of which has just released his Because I´m EP, three slices of gut-busting, head pounding techno, including the intense and driven title track.
