SCB - Hexagon

Scuba crossed over into techno from the realm of dubstep, where he had made his fame with some excellent LP´s that showcased his surgeon´s precision when it came to crafting chilling, yet emotionally alluring, pieces of electronic music. He´s lent his touch to several techno productions by now, rising to the top of that genre as well and where he´s bound to stay if he keeps releasing tracks like Hexagon, as cold and deadly as an ice-pick made of ice.

SCB - Extint (ANNA Remix)

Scuba´s ice-cold techno sound has by now become his trademark, with crisp production and robotic, repetitive loops and rhythms that seem alien and devoid of feeling but nonetheless compelling and entertaining. His Extinct EP, released by his very own Hotflush label, includes two original tunes and two remixes of the title track, with ANNA´s version bringing out its deeper, tougher side.

Locked Groove - Enigma (Scuba´s Warehouse Mix)

Scuba makes a second appearance this month, this time remixing Locked Groove´s spacey Enigma, turning it into an all-out main floor hypnotizer on this Hotflush release (HFT037). 

Scuba - Nineteen Eighty

Scuba closes his Phenix trilogy with four quality tracks, two of which are dancefloor ready alongside two spacier and more delicate efforts. This EP (PNX003), as well as the other two in the series, is as cold and crisp as a winter morning.
